new days

waking & listening to the birds, drinking tea.

sometimes I imagine that love rules this world.

that underneath this surface of desire, loss & fear - there lives a greater power - one that takes courage to face, one that requires a sharp sword & an honest look at what is all around oneself.

this morning while I drink my tea - there are birds & sunlight all around & I am reminded of the beauty of my world.

there is no loss, only discovery.

Art Outside - Flight to Austin

sometimes when there is a groundless aspect to our lives, we find a certain thrill - that our lives are moving on is some wild directions, without tether. It is in these moments that anything is possible. that whatever we were, is now open to re-invention.

I am flying & though the plane has landed, there is still this weightless aspect.

it is hot & humid, like the last days of summer here in Austin. today we take off for the festival .. I am so lucky to do what I love, make music & films .. somehow there is always a new corner to turn, a form unseen suddenly come to light. inspired I jump.

the fall brings me to this cloud city.

listened & drank some 1554 beer while smiling in the rare sun of summer - autumns summer that only here in the bay we get to enjoy ..

been a bit since I posted anything ...

have been working on the musical storyboards for 'sea of destiny' to flush out the story ..a film script really - yet simplified version for the musical .. today I will post some shots of the first ones ... presently looking for a storyboard artist to make beautiful ones ..
